Equestrian & Animal Camp

Summer on the farm is one of the best seasons! Our well-known Equestrian & Animal Lover Camp is action-packed and full of fun. 

​

Our camp provides a variety of exciting and enriching experiences for all boys and girls. With our welcoming community at Stowe Farm, children will gain the confidence and independence to take care of their animal properly. 

​

Each day will consist of: 

  • Horse grooming

  • Learning to horseback ride or expanding knowledge on prior skills 

  • Learning about farm animal care

  • Hatching chicks and bird handling

  • Playing with puppies 

  • Daily team games

​

If you choose our Equestrian & Animal Lover Camp, your child is sure to make special memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!

Deposits & Pricing

  • Equestrian/Animal Camp - $550.00

  • Extended stay until 4:30pm - $20/day (Must be arranged before the day of for scheduling)

  • REQUIRED Deposit of $100 can be submitted on PayPal or by mail. Your spot will not be held until the deposit has been made.

Required Forms

Click to view each form. Each form must be reviewed, completed and returned for participation in our Summer Camp. Please print and sign all necessary forms. You may scan or take a photo of your signed forms and email them to Maura@StoweFarm.com or mail them directly to 6 Stowe Road Millbury, MA 01527

To help speed up the first day of camp, payment and all forms MUST be sent in 3 weeks before the start date for your child's week of camp. These forms include your child's annual physical, the Emergency Contact Form and Rider Risk Form!

Other items to bring to our summer camp include a riding helmet of their own with their name in it, shoes with a heel and long pants for horseback riding, sunscreen, lunch for Mon-Thurs in an insulated lunch box; we will provide pizza on Fri, and comfortable farm-safe shoes (no sandals).

Hours

Pet Facility Currently closed starting December 1, 2025 until further notice.  

​

Kids Corral Farm & Playground open on Saturdays & Sundays 10am - 5pm from Sept. 6th - November 2nd. 

​

Country Store will be open  Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am -5pm from Sept. 6th - Thanksgiving.

Horseback riding lessons are year-round and are scheduled by appointment only. 

FAQ

​

What should we bring with us? - Hats, sunscreen, comfortable shoes, and a camera of course!  

Can we bring strollers or wagons? Unfortunately, we cannot allow strollers, diaper bags or backpacks in the orchard. You can take these items into our Kid's Corral across the street!

Can we take in outside food or coolers? No, we do not allow outside food or coolers anywhere on property. Our Buck'n BBQ and Bad Apple Saloon sell food and drinks. 

Is there food to eat at the farm? - Yes! Our Buck'n BBQ is known for it's pulled pork, brisket, hamburgers and kid's menu!

What type of payment is accepted? - Cash or card.

Do I bring my own apple bag? No, all bags for the orchard must be purchased upon arrival.

Can I bring my dog? - Per order of the Board of Health, only service dogs who perform a task are allowed. This does not include emotional support pets.

Is there poison ivy? Yes, but we do our best to manage it.

Do you have bathrooms and sinks? Yes, we have portable facilities at the orchard and Kid's Corral. 

Do you charge for parking? - No, parking is free. Buses can also be accommodated!
