Boarding Rates

$17 per day, starting on arrival day,
½ day rates for guests leaving before 10:30am.

Walking Rates

Hand walking $3 per day per pet,

20-minute session.

Play time with a staff member

$5 per session per pet,

20-minute session.

Proof of up to date vaccinations must be shown or no admittance can be granted. Kennel sharing is not permitted unless the dogs are owned together.

Apple Acres

We are very proud of our kennel facilities. Apple Acres was constructed with the comfort of our guests in mind providing them with a secure yet engaging home away from home. Each kennel is sheltered from the elements and suited under the same roof as our grooming parlor and staff quarters, ensuring that our guests will always feel warm and secure and safe in the knowledge that a companion is always very close by.

Our large kennels are 5-foot with an 8-foot run. They are heated in the winter, air-conditioned in the summer, fully insulated and vet bedding is provided for extra comfort and warmth. Each kennel is constructed with in-between walls to help lower stress levels. Our guests are presented with a 5x10 stone run where they can enjoy the outdoors.

We feed twice a day and refresh our guests water. The staff at Apple Acres is happy to administer any prescribed oral medication, which may be required for our guests during their stay with us. Special prescription diets can also be catered should this be necessary. This may incur a small charge if we need to order anything in, otherwise you are most welcome to bring along your own food.

We do sometimes find that bringing in a familiar toy or a piece of clothing with your scent, may help our guests acclimatize to their new surroundings.
